In this workshop you will learn:
- “What is a chatbot?" Different types of this subject from artificial intelligence to textbased chats on your personal smartphone.
- “Why is a chatbot useful in the museum?” Modern mediation as a chance for smaller museums with limited budget and curious visitors.
- “How can you create your own chatbased tourguide?” Practical introduction in the chatbot automation platform of helloguide.

Christoph Haß will report from his consulting practice within the PwC NextLevel startup Initiative on the different forms of financing for startups and explain founders to which topics investors pay attention to most. The main focus of the workshop is the business plan, the pitch deck and the valuation of startups. PwC will present the new online valuation tool eValuation as well. This allows a complete digital valuation of startups in 30-50 minutes.

Since June 28, 2017 Dr. Thilo Rohlfs is the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport, Employment, Technology and Tourism of Schleswig-Holstein. With our new partner, Plug & Play, we want to identify suitable startups this year, who will be able to work on their business model with experienced mentors at the end of the year for three months in the Plug & Play accelerator in Silicon Valley.

The contest 5 Euro StartUp combines ideation workshops with a practical phase and delivers basic knowledge for people interested in testing their ideas and finding like-minded. The aim of the 5 Euro StartUp is to teach methods in the areas of idea generation, creativity training, project management and selfmanagement. We show examples of our courses how these methods can help setting up a company with more creativity and less capital and give you an insight in our intercultural workshops.

In this session we will share crucial advice from achieving product market fit to talking to Investors to make your Startup last.

Together, we will deep-dive into the world of building meaningful brands from a strategic point of view. We are convinced that – especially in our saturated markets – the brand is the strategic foundation of every company and especially of every startup: Brands are formed in the consumers’ minds based on all the experiences they make with a company. The question everybody should be able to answer: What do we stand for? Because nowadays, people don’t buy products, they buy what they identify with: purpose, values, attitude.

The workshop will highlight why technology is so crucial to economic success and how it can help to differentiate and move your business forward. At the same time, it will show some of the pitfalls on the way to technology selection and explain how to do it better.

Presentation by Sussi Bianco, who is one of the most sought after jury members in Danish entrepreneurship competitions. Her speciality is Health and Care technology. Sussi is the cofounder and business developer in a successful accelerator program in this area.

In order to boost innovation, TZL will set up the Gateway49 accelerator in Lübeck with focus on early stage startups. Up to 12 teams with bright ideas will be supported by coaches and mentors through a 9 month acceleration program. The startups get access to our network and will be matched with high-level industrial and financial partners.
