I see the smart home world from a consumers perspective and I was always frustrated. Overpriced, poorly written apps not upgraded in a while, no open api, connecting to a "cloud" without knowing what data gets collected about me - this list can go on and on... I want to show you that there are alternatives out there and I believe everyone can start their own DIY journey to make their home smart - in a good way.
